The RedHawks want more of the same. The Broncos would prefer to flip the script.
Miami meets Western Michigan in Kalamazoo Tuesday night. Those two squads are coming off very different experiences last Saturday. While the RedHawks thumped Ball State by 21 points, WMU was blitzed by rival Central Michigan 69-42 on Toilet Paper Toss Day in Mount Pleasant.

Tuesday's contest matchws teams battling to remain among the top MAC's to eight, who will earn a spot in the conference post-season tourney. Miami (6-6 MAC) is currently tied with Kent State for sixth place. The Broncos (5-7) are one game back -- alone in eighth place.

The Broncos did much of their damage where Miami struggled early in the year -- rebounding and action in the paint. Western Michigan out-rebounded Miami 40-27 on the day. WMU outscored MU 20-3 on second chance points and 38-28 on points in the paint.

Western Michigan's balance, however, also showed as two more players scored nine apiece and two more tallied eight points. Anthony Crump was one of the latter, and he also recorded a game-high nine rebounds. Senior center Titus Wright nearly matched that with eight points and eight caroms.

Miami had four players in double figures. Anderson Mirambeaux led the way with 20 points. Bryson Bultman tallied 15, followed by Ryan Mabrey (11) and Darweshi Hunter (10).
