Freshman Eian Elmer poured in a career-high 23 points and grabbed six rebounds as the Miami RedHawks held off Eastern Michigan's second half challenge to post a 71-54 win Saturday at Millett Hall.

With the victory, MU evened both its season mark (8-8) and MAC record (2-2). Eastern Michigan fell to 8-8 overall and 1-3 in MAC play.
