It's RedHawks vs Broncos in MAC tournament  Miami will face Western Michigan in Mid-American Conference Softball Tournament action Wednesday at Firestone Stadium in Akron. The game is slated to start at 2:30 p.m.. As with all tourney games, it will be televised on ESPN+. Akron won the regular season title, while Northern Illinois finished second. As the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, they earned byes for Day One action. Miami is a No. 3 seed, which pits the RedHawks against No. 6 Western Michigan. The two teams met in Oxford March 13-14, with MU winning two of three. The Broncos won game won 8-6, but Miami took both ends of a double header (6-5 and 9-1) the following day. Ohio is the No. 4 seed and will meet No. 5 Central Michigan in Wednesday's tournament opener (noon). IMPORTANT NOTE: Start times can change due to various factors, including weather!!!
