BUFFALO, NY -- Miami (25-9, 7-3 MAC) gave hosting Buffalo (16-19, 5-5 MAC) a one-two punch Friday as the RedHawks slugged their way to a 10-3 win at Nan Harvey Field.

Leadoff hitter Mia Estrello stroked three hits, including a homer as she drove in five runs. Katy Olive, who followed Estrello, walked twice and also homered while driving in two.

Erin Pinter (2 hits, 2 rbi's) and . . .

. . . Bailey Manos (2 hits, 1 BB, 1 rbi) also had multi-hit days as the RedHawks totaled 10 hits.

Presley Hosick picked up the win for MU, raising her own record to 8-3. She scattered nine hits, struck out five and walked three over seven innings.

Fenevieve Longsdorg (6-5) took the loss, allowing six runs on five hits in 1.1 innings. Olivia Russ surrendered four runs on five hits in 5.2 innings of work. She struck out four and walked five.

•  Miami struck for tworuns in its first at bat. After an Olive walk, McKenna Campbell doubled to right. Both runners came home on a Pinter single to right center.  Pinter

•  Buffalo got one back in its half when Nicole Allen brought in Reagan Terwilliger with a double.

•  Longsdorf got one RedHawk out in the second before four straight RedHawks scored. Evey Dieudonne started the rally when she was hit by a pitch. Manos doubled her in and Estrello followed with an rbi single. Katy Olive's two-run homer to left ended Longsdorf's day as Russ took over. She retired the next two batters.

•  The Bulls would strike for two runs in the third. Emily Gorman opened the frame with a single. Terwilliger, who went 3-for-2 with a walk, banged out a triple. She then scored on a fielders choice. However, Miami's Hosick stopped the damage, retiring two of the next three batters to end UB's rally.

•  Buffalo would not score again, but MU plated four more runs. Two came in the fourth when Estrello's two-run homer to left expanded Miami's lead to 8-2.

•  Three seventh inning walks preceded a two-run single by Estrello to close scoring.
