The Mid-American Conference announced its weekly men's basketball awards today and Miami's Luke Skaljac was recognized as MAC Co-Player of the Week. The Brecksville, Ohio native propelled Miami to a pair of wins against UMass and Bowling Green to remain undefeated (27-0, 14-0 MAC). In 31.9 minutes per game, Skaljac averaged 20.0 points, 6.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 steal. He also shot 14-of-25 (56.0%) from the field, 6-of-13 (46.2%) from the three-point line and 6-of-7 (85.7%) from the free-throw line over the two games. The sophomore guard opened the week with 16 points, seven assists, two rebounds and one steal in an 86-77 win over the Minutemen Tuesday night. Skaljac then recorded 24 points (the most of his career), five assists, three rebounds and one steal in a 91-77 victory against the Falcons Friday night. Miami is back in action Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at Eastern Michigan. Ohio game moved to Friday The Miami University men's basketball game at Ohio in March 2026 has been selected for a national telecast on ESPN2.
