Miami football fate becomes clear: Win and In Friday's results, which included Ohio's win over Buffalo have removed much of the cloud cover over a second spot in the 2025 MAC Championship game. Western Michigan's unmatched 7-1 record has the Broncos in one spot. The question entering this week was, which of four second place teams would prevail. According to profootballnetwork.com's latest update (Friday afternoon), a RedHawks win over Ball State Saturday would send MU to the title game. If Miami loses, of course, it is out. Miami lost to both . . . . . . Toledo and Ohio, but it defeated Western Michigan and would have wins over Ball State and Northern Illinois.
