Miami announces 2025 football schedule UNLV among teams coming to Yager Stadium ![]() CLEVELAND, Ohio – On Wednesday morning, the Miami University football team announced its 2025 schedule, highlighted by six home contests and seven total games versus teams that accepted bowl bids a year ago. Miami opens the season at Wisconsin (Thursday, Aug. 28) and travels to face Rutgers (Saturday, Sept. 6) the following week. After a bye, the RedHawks host UNLV (Saturday, Sept. 20) and Lindenwood (Saturday, Sept. 27) in back-to-back weeks inside Yager Stadium. The Sept. 27 contest will be Miami's annual Homecoming contest. Miami begins conference play . . . ![]() . . . at Northern Illinois (Saturday, Oct. 4). Other road MAC games include trips to Akron (Saturday, Oct. 11), Ohio (Tuesday, Nov. 4) and Buffalo (Wednesday, Nov. 19). The RedHawks host Eastern Michigan (Saturday, Oct. 18), Western Michigan (Saturday, Oct. 25), Toledo (Wednesday, Nov. 12) and Ball State (Saturday, Nov. 29). Family Weekend will be Oct. 25 versus the Broncos. The Red and White are coming off a historic two-year run, capturing 20 victories in that span, including a 2023 MAC Championship and a 2024 Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl victory. Last season, Chuck Martin became the winningest head coach in Miami history and has led the RedHawks to a 49-19 MAC record since 2016, best in the conference.
