Wolverines wipe out early Miami leads, pull away ANN ARBOR, MI -- Hosting Michigan (3-1) connected on 58.3 percent from the field and out-rebounded Miami 44-23 as the Wolverines pulled away from MU for a 94-67 victory Monday at the Crisler Center. Miami (2-2) stayed with the hosts early and held several small leads during the opening stanza. The RedHawks were up 30-27 with 4:54 to go, but UM went on a 10-0 run. Michigan was up 42-36 at intermission. The Wolverines quickly . . . . . . took control when play resumed, outscoring Miami 12-1 in just over five minutes. Tre Donaldson's layup at 14:50 gave the hosts a 19-point advantage (57-36). Miami would get no closer than 16 points after that, and UM led by as many as 31 as the Wolverines out-scored MU 50-31in the second period. Michigan hit 57.6 percent from the field and 53.3 percent outside the arc after intermission. Miami connected on 36.4 percent from the floor and 20.0 percent on treys in the final stanza. Three RedHawks reached double figures on the night. Eian Elmer led the way, hitting 5-of-10 from the field and 3-of-7 treys on the way to 14 points. Kam Craft netted 13 points, while Peter Suder contributed 12. Eight other RedHawks combined for a total of 28 points. Senior guard Nimari Burnett led Michigan with 18 points. Tre Donaldson followed with 16 points, while L.J. Cason (11) and Roddy Gayle Jr. (10) also reached double figures. NOTES:
