RedHawks basketball schedule released

Old Dominion visits for Nov. 3 opener

OXFORD, Ohio – On Friday, the Miami University men's basketball team announced its entire 2025-26 schedule. The Red and White will play 31 regular-season contests, including an 18-game Mid-American Conference (MAC) slate.

. . . the season at home versus Old Dominion in a MAC-SBC Challenge contest. Miami opens conference play Dec. 20 at Ball State, with the RedHawks' home MAC opener set for Jan. 3 against defending MAC champion Akron at Millett Hall.

After welcoming Old Dominion (Nov. 3) to Millett for the first game of the season, the RedHawks will host six other non-conference home opponents, which include Trinity Christian (Nov. 7), Mercyhurst (Nov. 20), Arkansas - Pine Bluff (Nov. 23), Indiana University East (Dec. 2), Maine (Dec. 6) and Milligan (Dec. 22).

The RedHawks' road non-conference slate includes trips to Air Force (Nov. 15), UNC Asheville (Dec. 10), Eastern Kentucky (Dec. 13) and Wright State (Dec. 16). Miami will also compete in a neutral-site game versus UNC Greensboro (Nov. 26) at Edward Waters University in Jacksonville, Fla. The Red and White will travel to face a not-yet-determined Sun Belt Conference opponent in the MAC-SBC Challenge on Feb. 7.

Miami's first two games of the Mid-American Conference schedule are both away from Oxford, as the Red and White follow the trip to Ball State (Dec. 20) by visiting Bowling Green (Dec. 30). Other road MAC contests include Toledo (Jan. 10), Kent State (Jan. 20), Buffalo (Feb. 3), UMass (Feb. 17), Eastern Michigan (Feb. 24), Western Michigan (Feb. 28) and Ohio (Mar. 6).

The RedHawks' nine home games include six in the month of January: Akron (Jan. 3), Western Michigan (Jan. 6), Central Michigan (Jan. 13), Buffalo (Jan. 17), UMass (Jan. 27) and Northern Illinois (Jan. 31). Miami will also welcome Ohio (Feb. 14), Bowling Green (Feb. 21) and Toledo (Mar. 3) to Millett Hall to round out the home dates.
