RedHawk teams combine for MAC's top trophies ![]() If you felt like Miami athletics had a particularly successful year in 2024-2025, your feeling have been validated with a pair of treasured trophies. For just the fourth time in school history, Miami captured BOTH the Reese and Jacoby trophies in the same calendar year. The trophies reflect overall Mid-American Conference athletic supremacy, with points earned via schools' respective finishes in the standings for each sport. The total points are divided by the number of sports sponsored by each school. The Reese Trophy sysmbolizes athletic supremacy in MAC men's sports, while the Jacoby Trophy . . . . . . recognizes MAC supremacy in women's sports. This is MU's 26th Reese Trophy -- tops among all MAC programs. It is the school's seventh Jacoby Trophy. Miami last won both trophies in 2019. The RedHawks captured 10 championships during 2024-2025. football, baseball (x2), men's swimming (Missouri Valley Conference), field hockey (x2), softball (x2) and tennis.
