Miami picked for six in preseason basketball poll CLEVELAND, Ohio – On Tuesday morning the Mid-American conference announced that the Miami University men's basketball team was selected to finish sixth in the preseason coaches poll. Ohio was crowned first in the preseason rankings with 121 points and were followed by Akron (106), Kent State (99), Toledo (95), Bowling Green (73), Miami (72), Ball State (67), Central Michigan (55), Eastern Michigan (36), Western Michigan (33), Northern Illinois (24) and Buffalo (11).
