Mid-American Sports fans are liable to see as many as a half dozen teams mentioned as contenders by various media when projecting the 2025 MAC football title race. Transfer portal moves, coaching changes and other factors will no doubt play into what will likely by a drama-filled season. Basketball schedule update, Phil Steele football notes  CLEVELAND, Ohio – On Tuesday afternoon, the Mid-American Conference announced that the Miami University men's basketball team will host Old Dominion in the MAC versus Sun Belt Challenge on Monday, Nov. 3. It will be the third time that the two programs have faced off.
The RedHawks posted a 2-0 record in last season's challenge, earning victories over Appalachian State (77-63) and Troy (69-62). Later on in the 2025-26 season, the Red and White will travel to take on a Sun Belt opponent. It was good to get a least a little news on the basketball schedule front.
