OMG ... I may still be chuckling when I go to sleep tonight! Earlier today, I received a link to a Jon Gruden post on X (formerly Twitter). I will post the link below, but let me BRIEFLY preface it with a few remarks and background. The video begins with Gruden bringing a box into the room. Apparently, it is from Miami Football Coach Chuck Martin. Gruden gets the outer (shipping) box open easily enough, but spends the next several minutes mauling his way into the inner box. For just the fourth time in school history, Miami captured BOTH the Reese and Jacoby trophies in the same calendar year.
The trophies reflect overall Mid-American Conference athletic supremacy, with points earned via schools' respective finishes in the standings for each sport.
